SOC Assessment & Roadmap Design · SOC-CMM partner
Know what your SOC misses before an attacker does.
We assess your security operations centre across technology, people and process, measure its breach and incident response readiness against your regulatory needs, and hand you a maturity report with a roadmap to act on.
Why it matters
A busy SOC is not necessarily a mature one.
Spend on the right gap
Tools, staff or process: the assessment shows which one limits detection and response, before more budget goes into the wrong one.
Ready for the breach you fear
We measure readiness for real attacks and incident response, so leadership knows how the SOC would perform when it truly counts.
Regulators look at operations
Regulatory requirements are part of the assessment, so the roadmap closes compliance gaps in the SOC alongside operational ones.
How we deliver
Five phases. One roadmap you can fund.
We look at the whole operation, not only the tools, and finish with the actions that close each gap we find.
Technology & tools
A high-level evaluation of your SOC technologies and tools to judge their effectiveness and find gaps in what they cover.
People & skills
We review analyst skills, experience and training to judge whether the team can carry out the tasks it is given.
Scope, mission & policy
We check the SOC's scope, mission, policies and documentation against what the business needs from it.
Organisation & facilities
How the SOC fits your organisation, goals and needs, plus the facilities and physical infrastructure it relies on.
Roadmap design
Findings become a roadmap of recommendations and actions that close the gaps, laid out so you can plan and fund them.
Scope and deliverables
Technology and tools, people and organisation, then a report and roadmap.
Expected outcomes: a measured view of your SOC's maturity, budget directed at the gaps that limit detection and response, and a roadmap leadership can fund.

SOC assessment, before the first interview.
What SOC managers and CISOs ask before an assessment.
Does the assessment disrupt our SOC's daily work?
Very little. We review tools, documents and facilities, and interview analysts and managers at agreed times. Monitoring and response carry on as normal throughout.
Do you work with a recognised maturity model?
We have been an official support partner of SOC-CMM, the SOC maturity measurement model, since February 2025, and we bring that expertise into how we assess people, process and technology.
What access do you need from our team?
Access to your SOC tools and documentation, time with analysts and managers, and a view of the facilities. A named sponsor helps us agree scope and keep interviews on schedule.
What does the final report contain?
A SOC maturity assessment report covering strengths, weaknesses and gaps across people, process and technology, with recommendations and a roadmap of actions to close each gap.
Does it consider our regulatory obligations?
Yes. Regulatory requirements are part of the scope, so the report shows where operations fall short of what your regulators expect, alongside operational and technical gaps.
