Software Source Code Review · Security and quality
Fix it in the code, not after the breach.
We examine your application's source code for security vulnerabilities, bugs and departures from coding standards, then give your developers clear, evidenced fixes early, before the weakness ships to users.
Why it matters
Every release carries your code. Make it worth trusting.
Fixed before it ships
A flaw corrected during development does not ship, avoids an emergency patch later and stays away from your users' data.
Security and quality together
The review also flags code that is hard to read, maintain or run efficiently, so each fix strengthens the software as well as its defences.
Standards your teams can keep
Checking code against industry coding practices and guidelines makes future updates easier and helps stop the same mistakes recurring in new features.
How we review
Five phases. From repository to remediation.
We learn how your team builds software before reading a line of it, so findings fit your process and your developers can act on them.
Preparation
We learn the project requirements, your development process and what the review must achieve before any code is examined.
Planning
Objectives, timelines, roles and responsibilities are agreed in advance, together with the components and code in scope.
Code examination
Reviewers work through the code for security vulnerabilities, potential bugs, quality issues and departures from coding standards.
Reporting
A report summarises every issue found, its severity, the supporting evidence and our recommendation for improving it.
Knowledge transfer
We take your developers and leads through the severe findings, agree remediation priorities and set a prioritised action plan.
What you receive
What we examine, findings and evidence, and a handover to your team.
Expected outcomes: fewer security flaws reaching production, code that is easier to maintain, and remediation priorities agreed with your developers.

Code review, before you share a line.
What engineering leads and CISOs ask before sharing their source code with us.
How do you get access to our source code?
Access is agreed during planning. We work with you on how code is shared and handled for the engagement, in line with your own security requirements and those of your clients.
Which languages and frameworks do you cover?
Tell us your languages, frameworks and build process during preparation. We confirm coverage and the right review approach before we propose a scope, so there are no surprises later.
Is a code review the same as a penetration test?
No. A code review examines how the software is written, while a penetration test attacks it from the outside. Many organisations combine the two to see whether issues found in code are exploitable.
Will the review slow down our development team?
The review is planned around your timelines and roles from the start. Your developers mainly join the preparation discussions and the knowledge transfer session at the end.
How does code review help with compliance?
Documented review results show auditors that security is built into development. The report and remediation evidence support ISO 27001 audits and the regulatory reviews you face.
Scope your code review
Show us what you've built. We'll show you what to fix.
Tell us about your application, languages and release plans, and a code review specialist will propose a scope and timeline.
