Advanced Threat Hunting · Proactive search for IOCs
Find the intruder your alerts missed.
Our hunters go looking for trouble instead of waiting for it. They search your network and systems for the indicators of compromise a quiet, skilled attacker leaves behind, then chase every lead until it is confirmed or ruled out.
Why hunt
Silence is not safety. Hunting tests it.
Skilled attackers avoid alarms
Sophisticated intruders use legitimate tools and move slowly to stay below detection thresholds. Hunting goes after them directly.
Less time for them inside
Every day an attacker stays hidden widens their reach. Searching proactively gives you the chance to evict them before they reach critical data.
Sharper detection afterwards
Each hunt reveals blind spots in your logging and rules, so your monitoring is harder to slip past once the hunters have finished.
How a hunt runs
Systematic by design. Targeted by intelligence.
A hunt is not a random trawl through logs. Each stage narrows the search towards the behaviour a real adversary would leave behind.
Define the hunt
We agree the environment, the crown-jewel assets and the threat scenarios most relevant to your sector and region.
Gather telemetry
We collect the network, endpoint and log data the hunt needs, using your existing tools and our own where required.
Search for IOCs
Hunters sweep the data for indicators of compromise and suspicious patterns that your automated rules did not alert on.
Investigate leads
Every anomaly is examined in context until it is confirmed as malicious activity, a misconfiguration or harmless behaviour.
Report and harden
You receive the findings, confirmed threats escalated for response, and advice to close the gaps the hunt exposed.
Hunt scope
Where we look, what we look for and what you receive.
Expected outcomes: earlier discovery of hidden threats, less time for attackers inside your network, and sharper detection rules afterwards.

Threat hunting, without the mystique.
Straight answers to what security teams ask before commissioning a hunt.
How is threat hunting different from monitoring?
Monitoring reacts to alerts raised by rules. Hunting starts from the assumption that something slipped through, and searches for it directly using indicators of compromise.
Will hunting slow our systems down?
Hunting works mainly on data your systems already produce. Where extra collection is needed, we agree it with your team first and plan around critical business activity.
What does a hunt need from our team?
Access to the relevant logs and telemetry, a technical contact who knows the environment, and a clear escalation route in case we find active malicious activity.
What happens if you find an attacker?
We escalate straight away to your nominated contacts with the evidence gathered. Containment can then be handled by your own team or through our incident response service.
Should hunting be a one-off or ongoing?
A single hunt gives you a point-in-time answer. Attackers and their techniques keep changing, so repeating hunts or pairing them with continuous monitoring keeps that answer current.
