Infrastructure Security · Attack, assess, harden
Harden every layer an attacker would cross.
From the network edge to each server build, we attack, assess and review your infrastructure, then set baselines that help keep it secure.
In this area
Eight services. Offence, assurance and hardening.
Use them one at a time or as a programme: test, find what is already wrong, then set a standard that helps prevent it recurring.
Infrastructure Penetration Testing
Ethical hackers exploit weaknesses in your networks, servers and operating systems, with retesting on demand.

Scanning and expert analysis that find, rank and explain weaknesses across operating systems and applications.

Objective-led and threat-intelligence-led operations that test your resilience across cyber, human and physical paths.

An investigation of logs, configurations and data sources that establishes whether attackers are already inside.

Every rule checked against business need and vendor best practice, with misconfigured rules flagged and fixes proposed.

Your security architecture measured against standards for access control, encryption, network design, DR and IR.

System settings compared with benchmarks, vendor guidance and hardening guides, with a remedy for each weakness.
Explore configuration reviewMinimum Baseline Security Standard
Minimum secure configuration baselines for each system type, so every new build starts hardened from day one.
Explore MBSS developmentWhy it matters
Attackers need one gap. Find yours first.
See what an intruder sees
Penetration tests and red team operations show how far a real attacker could move through your network and which controls slow them down.
Know if you are already breached
Compromise assessments search logs, configurations and data sources for signs that someone is already inside.
Hardened by design, not by luck
Architecture reviews, configuration benchmarks and baseline standards build security into the systems you deploy.

FAQ
Infrastructure testing, where to begin.
What infrastructure and network teams ask before an assessment starts.
Which infrastructure service should we start with?
If you have not been tested before, a vulnerability assessment gives a broad baseline. To learn how far an attacker could get, choose a penetration test. If you suspect an intrusion, start with a compromise assessment.
Do we need red teaming or a penetration test?
It depends on the question. A penetration test looks for as many weaknesses as possible in an agreed scope. Red teaming pursues a goal, such as reaching critical data, using cyber, human and physical techniques to test how your people and controls respond.
Who do you need on our side during testing?
A named contact who can make decisions during testing, plus an agreed scope, network and asset details and test windows. For configuration and firewall reviews we also need access to the relevant settings.
How do you report what you find?
Each service ends in a written report: an executive summary, detailed findings with evidence and remediation recommendations in priority order. Configuration and baseline work produce per-system reports.
Does this help with NCA ECC or SAMA CSF requirements?
NCA ECC and SAMA CSF both include controls for vulnerability management and secure configuration. Our reports and baseline standards give your auditors that evidence, and open gaps can be tracked to closure in ExceedGRC.
